Amsterdam Schiphol Airport

Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is 15 km (9 mi) southwest of the city's center and less than 20 minutes by train from Amsterdam Central Station.

It is the biggest airport in the Netherlands, and the 4th largest in Europe. The airport is built as one large terminal split into 3 large departure halls.


Around 100 scheduled airlines connect the airport with direct flights to 320 destinations around the world.

It handles about 55 million passengers a year and is home base to KLM , since 2004 part of Air France-KLM, and Transavia , and a hub for Delta Air Lines .
