Keukenhof Gardens
In tulip season flower lovers can take a coach trip to Keukenhof, world's largest flower garden dedicated to tulips. Trips can be booked from companies on the Damrak, or take the train to Leiden, and then bus 54 (Keukenhof Express).
Keukenhof is open annually from the last week of March to mid-May. The best time to view the tulips is around mid-April, depending on the weather. Tulips usually bloom between late April and the middle of May.
