Greenhouse chic, locally sourced, organic, and seasonal
Restaurant De Kas is known for its focus on seasonal and locally grown ingredients, often sourced from its own greenhouses and garden.
Guests dine in the midst of the greenhouse overlooking the garden where vegetables and herbs are grown.
It is a trendy restaurant that is located in an airy former greenhouse in the eastern part of Amsterdam. Its breathtaking dining room has been designed by Piet Boon, famous Dutch furniture and interior designer.
Fresh and organic food
Most used herbs and vegetables are grown on site, with others coming from a nearby farm. Everything you eat is harvested that day. This also means there's no à la carte option.
De Kas received its first Michelin star in November 2022.
