Fairly priced food in a relaxed atmosphere

NENI - in the iconic former Citroën garage next to the Olympic Stadium - opened its doors in February 2019. It is the twelfth branch of NENI and the first one in the Netherlands.

Ambience and interior

The ambience is relaxed and informal. The raw industrial characteristics of the monumental garage combined with warm Eastern Mediterranean elements create a modern, warm atmosphere.

The main attraction is the large open kitchen placed in the middle of the ground floor, the former garage floor. Most guests have a direct view on the kitchen that is showcased in a large glass house. Eating is done at long tables around this kitchen, or at the counters near the cooks.

NENI Deli

The NENI Deli is an all-day food destination with freshly prepared dishes, a wide variety of sandwiches, salads, juices, sweets and coffees. In the evening the Deli transforms into a quick and vibrant Mezze & Pizza place.

The Lemonman

The Lemonman is a vibrant bar located above the restaurant, with the ambition to become a hot spot in the area.

Eastern Mediterranean cuisine

Owner of the restaurant is cookbook writer Haya Molcho. The basis of her cooking is the Eastern Mediterranean cuisine, known for the rich flavors of sun-ripened fruit and an abundance of vegetables.

On the menu

On the menu of the restaurant are a rich variety of mezze, freshly prepared vegetables, specialities from the charcoal grill and culinary fish and meat dishes from the stone oven.

Bread comes from the restaurants very own bakery located in the same building.

Specialities include Sakuska, Popcorn Falafel, Tulum Cigar, Sourdough Bread Salad, Lahmajun, and Miso Harissa Octopus.
