The Seafood Bar is a modern seafood restaurant owned and run by the De Visscher family with 4 locations in Amsterdam, 1 in Utrecht and 1 in London.

All types of seafood and shellfish are available with additional daily choices of fish, and... reasonably priced.

The cuisine is top-notch and the menu offers many classic fish dishes such as bouillabaisse, fish & chips, shrimps, mussels, oysters, king crab, lobster.

4 locations

The Seafood Bar opened its first restaurant in the Van Baerlestraat in 2012. It has now 4 locations in the Centrum and Zuid district of Amsterdam.

Most recently, this successful seafood restaurant opened its latest location at Damrak in the beautiful Beurs van Berlage building.

The seafood platters of Fruit de Mer are excellent. Everything is cooked to perfection and beautifully presented on ice.

Reservation

No reservation is needed but at popular eating times it is recommended to book a table because it can be very crowdy with people queing in the street.

Only 60% of the tables are for reservations. The rest is kept available for walkins..
