XtraCold IceBar Amsterdam

It's all in the name, everything in the XtraCold Icebar is of ice: the walls, bar, stools and even the glasses you drink from. XtraCold Icebar is located in the heart of Amsterdam on the Amstel River, near Rembrandtplein.
XtraCold Amsterdam consists of 2 parts: the IceBar and the Lounge.
Upon entry, guests are welcomed in the XtraCold Lounge. To face the icy temperatures each visitor gets special thermal clothing and mittens. A few moments after entering the Icebar, a 3D animation show (Ice Xperience) starts. Through a pair of polarized glasses, special clothing, wind turbines and the ice-cold temperature of -10 degrees C, visitors make a thrilling journey over steep cliffs and abysses.
Cool arrangement
For a little higher price of €24 you will be greeted on arrival by host Willem Barentsz and given a free welcome cocktail in the lounge. You will be given a warm poncho and mittens before being escorted to the Icebar. The Icebar is equipped with colourful lights which together with the "party music" creates a cozy atmosphere. At -10 degrees Celsius you can enjoy your two free drinks in a glass of ice.
