Terraces
Throughout the year (except for the winter months), the terraces are packed with people enjoying a drink and watching the world go by.
Live music
In the most cafés there is live music (mostly Dutch-language songs) and you can find people who are singing Dutch folk songs at the top of their voices.
Statue
The square, named after the famous painter Rembrandt van Rijn, used to be a butter market in former days. In the middle of the square is a statue of Rembrandt.
