A small design hotel situated in a modernized 17th-century canal house.
In true boutique style, all the rooms of the hotel have a different style: African, Oriental, Dutch design, Rembrandt, Baroque and Retro.
The hotel rooms are located on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor and can only be reached by steep stairs, so typical for Amsterdam canal houses. The staff will help you to carry your bags to your room!
On the principal floor is the charming little cocktail bar Rosalia's Menagerie , which is inspired by Dutch heritage with its rich history in trade, distilling, and innovation.
Here you could taste the locally-made genevers or liquors, but also the typical Amsterdam drink Kopstootje, a combination of beer and genever.
The 3 slightly larger rooms at the front of the building have a beautiful view over Kloveniersburgwal canal.
Choose from: Afrika - the largest and lightest room with a floor-to-ceiling mural of the setting sun; Rembrandt - its bedhead is a huge reproduction of the artist's famous 'Night Watch' painting; and Design - an airy, contemporary room decorated in white and neutral tones.
The 3 rooms at the back are a bit smaller, quieter and look out over one of the lovely inner gardens of Amsterdam.
Wonders is a cosy room with Asian touches, while Retro is glittery 1970s. Baroque, at the top of the house, is might the most beautiful one.
Rosalia's Inn Upstairs has 6 spacious rooms with canal view or garden view.
All rooms have king-sized beds.
