By Train to Amsterdam

To and From Schiphol Airport

When arriving at Schiphol Airport you have different transport options to get to your hotel in Amsterdam. You could take a taxi, bus or rent a car, but the easiest way to get to central Amsterdam is by train. The train station is directly underneath the passenger terminal. A train ticket to Amsterdam Centraal costs only € 4.50.

Amsterdam's main railway stations

The main Amsterdam railway stations are: Amsterdam Centraal (city centre), Amsterdam Lelylaan (Amsterdam West) and Amsterdam Zuid (Amsterdam South and Zuidas).

It is not always necessary to travel first to Amsterdam Centraal. Take the train station that is closest to your hotel.

If your hotel is located in Amsterdam Oost (Amsterdam's eastern part) you could take the train to Amsterdam Zuid and then change to metro line 51.
