Business district

Zuidas is Amsterdam's prime location, an urban hub with international allure. The district has a strategic location, to the south of the city centre and in close proximity to Schiphol Airport. The journey from the Zuidas to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol takes approximately 8 minutes.

Over 700 companies are already established here. They include Google, AkzoNobel and ABN AMRO.

Zuidas is bordered by Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam  's main buildings and central campus and the university hospital VUmc  on the south side.

Both the Old City Centre of Amsterdam with all its big attractions as well as upcoming Amsterdam Noord can be reached very fast via the newly built North South metro line, which started its operations only last year.
