De Japanner, rather an eatery than a restaurant, is inspired by the Japanese izakaya: small bars where workers relax with beer, sake and finger food after a long day of work before commuting (often for hours) home.
Inside, the bar has 2 levels where you can dine or have a drink. In summer you can sit on a sunny outdoor terrace where they serve cocktails, dinner or bar snacks.
On the menu
The restaurant is known for serving good quality Japanese cuisine, including sushi, sashimi, and various izakaya-style dishes.
Sample dishes are: Hamachi sashimi, Nasu dengaku, Salmon tataki, Vegan agedashi tofu, Chicken katsu, Saikoro beef steak, Uramaki.
